David Risk

Litigator

David Risk is a litigator with extensive trial experience at both the Maryland Circuit Court and District Court levels, including more than 20 jury trials taken to verdict.

Before joining McGowan & Cecil, David worked as an attorney at a prominent civil defense firm where he was hired by insurance companies to defend individuals and businesses who were sued for causing personal injuries. Before going into private practice, David gained valuable experience as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Baltimore City, prosecuting non-fatal shootings and felony handgun offenses.
