Our client was jogging across a residential street when suddenly a car turned onto the street and struck her. Upon investigation, we determined that the driver of the car did not see our client. It turns out that he had not cleared the ice off of his windshield before driving. As a result, our client suffered a burst fracture of her lumbar vertebrae and was required to wear a brace for 2.5 months.
